So what’s it all about?

There is lots of publicity about "cowboy" builders and dodgy, rip off tradesmen. It's good that there is, but when you want to hire a good plumber, builder, electrician, or find a nice restaurant or pub in your local area where do you look? Well you might ask your friends for a recommendation. Good thinking, but how many people can you ask?

This is what this site is about. We're about word of mouth recommendation. Orange Pages is visited by thousands of people every day. All businesses that are listed can be recommended if you think their quality of service warrants it. Businesses with the most recommendations will go to the top of the list within their relevant category. This should reduce your risk when searching for a particular service, and is a chance for the many quality and professional businesses and trades people to shine.

We only allow positive feedback, and all feedback is manually checked, and our system only allows one feedback per business per person.

Charities and Good causes

If you’re a charity or non profit organization, then contact us for a free enhanced listing. This will give you all the benefits of a paid listing, and allow you to use the local events planner to advertise any up-coming events you may have.

Each region will also be associated with a single charity, so 5% of all profits from businesses listed within that region, will go to the associated charity. For example, the Warwickshire area is associated with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

So as a user or as a business, you can relax knowing you are helping and promoting a worthy cause.
